UCSB receives $2.6M grant under the Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program
UC Santa Barbara has been selected to receive a $2.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Under the Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program, this five year grant will help develop new programs to expand educational opportunities available to students.

The Division of Undergraduate Education's mission is to foster student success and educational excellence at UC Santa Barbara. Our experienced staff members provide students with assistance regarding academic planning, but they also connect students to a wide variety of services across the campus. The office also houses a number of academic programs that add value to a student's UCSB education, including UCDC, the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Program, the Freshman Seminar Program, and the College of Letters and Science Honors Program.
